On today’s rhetorical devices test, was it easier to recognize devices from their definitions or identify them in quotations? Explain why, and discuss a device that challenged you, if any. What did this experience reveal about how well your study habits prepared you?

I found it easier to recognize the devices from the definition and some of the examples. I think it was easier for me because that's what we have been studying and going over most, and I am most familiar with. The device that  I think challenged me the most was antithesis because it was a bit challenging to identify. This difficulty revealed that I need to focus on one specific thing that challenges me most and keep reviewing it until I fully understand it. But I think my overall study methods were very effective.

In class today, we had a quiz on rhetorical devices.

It is important to set up a study plan that is compatible with you and most comfortable to allow you to do your best on the quiz/test.
