Consider the following statement: "We spend more time connecting online but less time connecting in person." Do you agree or disagree with this antithesis? Explain your perspective using personal experiences. Discuss how technology has influenced the way people communicate and build relationships. In your response, include at least one original example of antithesis.

I disagree with this antithesis. Online interactions act as a powerful booster for real-world relationships, allowing us to coordinate and deepen connections.  I have been able to make better connections with my peers through those online interactions, strengthening them.  Technology has influenced the way people communicate and build relationships to strengthen and sustain long-distance bonds.  Many people have friendships and relationships far apart from each other; technology allows people to have a way of reuniting with loved ones through instant messages and video calls.

In class today we went over more rhetorical analysis and completed a worksheet.

Different types of rhetorical language have been used in different types of writing, but are seen as simple phrases. I feel that when it is used in any writing, it enhances it greatly.
